Hafele Kara Swing is a premium door-installed kitchen basket system designed for tall unit cabinet storage across Malaysia.

Unlike standard pull-out baskets that are mounted inside the cabinet body, the hafele Kara Swing attaches directly to the back of the tall cabinet door. When the door is opened, the basket swings out with it — bringing all stored items immediately to the user without requiring any separate pulling or extending action. This door-mounted design maximises the usable storage space inside the tall unit by keeping the cabinet interior completely free.

The hafele Kara Swing requires a minimum internal cabinet height of 1700mm, making it designed specifically for full-height tall unit configurations commonly found in Malaysian kitchen pantry cabinets, larder units, and high storage columns. It is available in two door width sizes — 450mm and 600mm — covering the most common tall unit door widths used by kitchen cabinet manufacturers and renovation contractors across Malaysia.

The clearly divided tray system of the hafele Kara Swing is designed to organise different categories of kitchen items separately — from dry goods and canned items to bottles and pantry essentials. Each tray division makes it easy to arrange and retrieve items quickly, reducing the time spent searching through unorganised cabinet storage.

Weight capacity is 8kg for the large tray and 3kg for the small tray. Anti-slip surfaces on each tray level prevent items from shifting or falling when the door is opened and closed. This is especially important for tall unit storage where items are stored at height and any movement during door opening could cause them to topple.
