Hafele Free Fold

Hafele Free Fold is a premium soft-close flap door fitting designed for two-piece upper cabinet flap door applications across Malaysia.

Unlike a standard one-piece flap door that swings up as a single panel, the hafele Free Fold supports a two-piece flap door configuration where the door folds in the middle as it opens upward. This folding action keeps the open door panel compact and tucked close to the cabinet face, preventing it from protruding far into the kitchen space — a practical advantage in Malaysian kitchens where ceiling height or overhead clearance is limited.

The hafele Free Fold is compatible with two-piece flap doors made from wood, glass, or with an aluminium frame, making it a versatile fitting for a wide range of upper cabinet door materials and designs used by kitchen cabinet manufacturers and renovation contractors throughout Malaysia.

Two opening angle options are available — 90 degrees and 107 degrees — both adjustable directly on the fitting without needing to reposition the mounting hardware. This flexibility allows the installer to fine-tune the door opening position to suit the specific ceiling height and cabinet configuration of each installation.

The adjustment facility covers height, side, and tilting angle of the front panel at ±1.5mm, along with holding power adjustment. These precise adjustment options ensure a flush and even finish across all cabinet door panels after installation — a critical quality requirement for premium kitchen fitouts across Malaysia.

The fitting body is constructed from plastic and steel with a nickel plated finish, while the cover cap is in anthracite for a modern and consistent appearance. Door height range spans from 520mm up to 1040mm across eight size options, and door width options cover both under 900mm and over 900mm configurations.
