Unlike a standard surface-mounted door closer that sits visibly on the door face or frame, the hafele concealed door closer 80kg is installed completely inside the door panel and frame, making it invisible from both sides of the door. This concealed installation gives the finished door a clean, uncluttered appearance — a popular requirement for premium residential and commercial interior door projects throughout Malaysia.

This product supports door widths from 750mm to 1100mm and door weights up to 80kg, covering the full range of standard interior wooden door sizes used in Malaysian homes, offices, and commercial buildings. The minimum door panel thickness required for installation is 42mm, ensuring the closer body can be fully recessed within the door without weakening the panel structure.

The hafele concealed door closer 80kg features a closing force range of EN2 to EN4, allowing the installer to adjust the closing force to suit the specific door weight and usage frequency of each installation. The maximum door opening angle and hold-open angle are both 115 degrees, giving full and unrestricted access when the door is opened wide.
