Constructed from space aluminium, the h500 soft close hinge L-R offers excellent water and corrosion resistance — making it suitable for doors in humid Malaysian environments including bathrooms, kitchens, and covered outdoor areas where standard steel hinges may rust or deteriorate over time.

The hydraulic mechanism built into this hinge delivers both soft-open and soft-close performance. The door opens smoothly with controlled resistance and closes gently without slamming, protecting both the door panel and the door frame from impact over years of daily use. This dual soft action is what sets the h500 soft close hinge L-R apart from standard spring hinges or basic door closers in the Malaysian market.

The adjustable strength feature allows the closing and latching speed to be fine-tuned independently, giving the installer precise control over how quickly the door closes and how firmly it latches. This split force adjustment — where closing speed and latching force are set separately — ensures the door performs optimally regardless of door weight or usage frequency.
